Martin and Marina's Bit

A short walk to finish things off before hitting the road and driving home. This time, we walked westwards and passed through Charlestown, another blast from Martin's past. This was where his Granddad used to keep his fishing boat. Ahh, fresh mackerel for breakfast!

Derek and Lesley's Bit

Yep, again we are walking backwards this is day five of our Easter break our last day so a short one is in order.

We normally take a rest day but have pushed on this time no reason just we felt fit enough to make the best of the weather & time.

It wont be too long before we will be back.

Martin and Marina's Bit

Another tremendous day. On the path at 7 a.m to miss the hottest part of the day. Little lambs frolicking all over the place. And Martin did the Cornish Double. That's a large and tasty cheese pasty for Breakfast #2 and then Fish, Chips and Curry Sauce for lunch. And yes, the capital letters are warranted. These things are important, damn it! :-)

Derek and Lesley's Bit

Hot again today so we started early passing very young lambs in the fields but with the sun blazing down walking in the shady woods was just perfect. The Mevagissey  Pasties, Porthpean Cream teas & the danger keep off signs being ignored we had a very pleasant day.

Martin and Marina's Bit

Great walking. Fabulous weather. Started bright and early and were back at the cottage for lunch and a sunbathe. Martin and Marina walked to Porthpean Beach, where Martin used to go with his parents, grandparents and the occasional cousin, aunt and uncle when he was a wee nipper.

Derek and Lesley's Bit

Easter Sunday, tis a hot one today no shady woods to walk through just blazing sun however its a short one today so back to our accommodation early & we chill out enjoying the weather.
