Martin and Marina's Bit
The last day of our 6 days in Cornwall. A straightforward walk in good weather, finished off with a second time in Chrissy's Tea Room. Yes, and Martin had *two* cheese toasties. How greedy!
Derek and Lesley's Bit
Yes for those eagle eyed map readers we have walked the wrong way but this was for logistical reasons no cheating going on honest.
We spotted seals! Real live ones in the sea.
Past old Tin mines revisited for its metals in 1980 but closed in 1985 when the price of tin dropped from £10,000 per ton to just £4,000 per ton.
The mine shafts are now home to bats with conical mesh caps (bat castles) on the tops to make them safe.
Another enjoyable sunny days walking.
