Martin and Marina's Bit
This was the last day of this SWCP trip. Given we had a 5-6 hour drive home ahead of us, we made this a short, final walk of only 6.60 miles. We ended at Poldhu Beach which is only about 7 miles from The Lizard!
The weather was a tad wet today. Ok, it was very wet. Misty and drizzly to begin with, then plain drizzly. So today's views were somewhat diminished by the poor visibility. We didn't mind though. It was just nice to be out on the coastal path again.
We've made amazing progress this week, turning the corner at Lands End and surpassing the 300 mile mark!
Here's to our next expedition, which is likely to be over New Year.

Derek and Lesley's Bit
So here it is a our last day of this holiday. It's rainy and drizzly but still very embracing to be out on the southwest coast path.
Martin and myself set off at a reasonable pace and get somewhat ahead of the lady's, so we shelter under the trees waiting for the girls to catch up, the girls did not appear and it was some 10 minutes later that we realised that we had taken a wrong turning, looking back we can see the girls walking along the sand Bar where we should have been.
Eventually we catch them up and find that they too had had taken the wrong turning!
Walking together we arrive at our finishing point wet inside & out due to the humidity & the sea mist & rain.
